Scout and Guide Camp

Scout and Guide Camp was organised in Nirmal Nature Camp Site at Tilamol, as a part of co-curricular studies, by the teachers of Our Lady of Fatima High School Rivona.  It was held under the guidance of the leader of the camp, Tr. Felix Furtado and two more assistant leaders namely Tr. Palmira Rodrigues and Tr. Socie Dias on 10 and 11 February 2025. All the necessary and appropriate preparations were done in the camp site for the smooth functioning of the prepared activities. Certain activities in the form of competitions like drawing, sweet dish making, nature art, gadgets making, etc were conducted for identification of the talents of the students.  

To make the camp more effective, certain sessions for the Scouts and Guides were also conducted like session on Leadership by Vijay Kumar, Life Motivation by Santosh Silveira, and Importance of Nature by Prakash Gaunkar. There was camp fire at the end of the first day activities where the students sat together and shared their experiences and talents.  Along with some more activities on next day, the prizes were distributed to the respective students who secured awards during their camp hours. The Rose Patrol won the championship of the camp and the best Scout and Guide were Habibula and Sneha respectively.  The Scout and Guide Camp was concluded with a vote of thanks to all the necessary members at 04.30 pm on 11 February 2025. The Headmaster of the School was specifically appreciated for spending quality time with students, guiding and directing them in their journey of learning.
