Goa Coding 2024 Competition
The Directorate of Technical Education has started Coding and Robotics Education in Schools with a view to educate students digitally. Many students of Our Lady of Fatima High School Rivona had taken part in this 'Goa Codes 2024 Competition'. Our student Densia Danny Cruz from the class IX has secured 2nd place in Sanguem Taluka at the Taluka level of the Goa Codes 2024 Competition organised by Project Management Unit, Directorate of Technical Education under Coding and Robotics Education in School Scheme. She also had taken part in this competition on State level which was a good learning experience.



She received this award on Taluka level from the hands of our honourable Chief Minister of Goa - Pramod Sawant on 17 January 2025 at Porvorim. The Chief Minister appreciated the students for taking active part in the competition and showing keen interest in the concept of coding. The Project Director (PMU) Vijay Menino Jesus Borges also appreciated the students for their hard work respectively. Our students Mrudula Arolkar and Saidnya Thakur also had secured 1st place and 2nd place respectively in the same, last year, on Taluka level. These students were guided and trained by the Computer Teachers of the School Tr. Flossie Dsouza. The School feels very proud for their achievements and hard work in coding and robotics for the last two consecutive years.
